Ski Chalet Picabo is located in the highest mountain on the Balkan Peninsula in the picturesque village of Madjare. It is only 7 miles from the slopes of Bulgaria"s International ski resort Borovets that offers a great variety of ski runs.
A new 350 million EURO project called "Super Borovets" will add many more miles of ski runs and new lifts making Borovets one of the top ski resorts across Europe.
A further project is planned which could add a further 70 km of ski runs with development of spa and eco tourism to further enhance the region. If this project goes ahead it is possible that the village of Madjare will have its own ski lift as this project is planned around the village.
With Super Borovets already under construction and further tourism projects planned, it is expected that Borovets will become one of Europe"s hot spots for skiing and other mountain activities.
Prices are rising an average of 30 to 40 per cent each year and are likely to rise further with the above projects either under construction or planned. Bathroom: A spacious bathroom with full size bath and shower attachment over, basin, heated towel rail and toilet. A further separate toilet is available on the first floor with hand washbasin.
Downstairs there is a shower room with shower enclosure, hand basin and further toilet.
The Chalet is fully alarmed in conjunction with local security firm, ensuring total peace of mind at all times.
