The town of Iznajar and its surrounding villages is one of the most beautiful areas of southern Spain and is only 1 hour drive north of Malaga airport. The town of Iznajar is situated high up on the lake with its ancient castle and buildings, shops and bars. Finca Brigadoon is located about a 10 minutes drive from the town of Iznajar in the province of Cordoba.



THE TOWN OF IZNAJAR is situated high up on the Lakeside with its ancient castle, churches, quaint shops, bars, restaurants, banks and new indoor sports centre.



The lake offers angling plus many water sports. There is a lakeside bar and excellent restaurant with plenty of local dishes.



There are excellent shopping facilities in Rute 10 minutes drive famous for its hams, chocolates and anis liquer or larger towns of Lucena and Antequera for shopping malls,hypermarkets,cinemas both within 30/40 minutes drive.



TRAVELLING: Airports of Malaga and Granada are within 1 hour driving and is more or less a direct route from Finca Brigadoon with the roads in this area excellent for driving. You also now have the AVE high speed train now connected from Malaga (december 2008) to Madrid and is also being connected to all the major cities throughout Spain. Nearest train stations 30 minutes drive to Loja or 40 minutes drive to Antequera.
